Base/Sauce Ingredients

1 tablespoon tamari

½ teaspoon sesame oil

 

Filling Ingredients

1 cup cooked and cooled noodles* or 40g dried vermicelli noodles 

¼ cup frozen baby peas

¾ cup steamed broccoli – cooled and chopped into bite sized pieces

½ carrot – grated or julienned

½ capsicum

2 teaspoons Best Bones broth powder – try the Daily tonic or the Asian blend

 

Method
  1. Use a heatproof jar or pot (with a lid) of about 500ml capacity. Layer the ingredients starting with the tamari and sesame oil. Place the noodles in next. Layer all the vegetables on top. Place the lid on and store in the fridge until ready to eat. 
  2. Sprinkle the bone broth powder on top and fill with 1 ½ cups of boiling water. Stir well. Place the lid on and leave for a few minutes to heat through.
  3. Add any additional seasoning as desired. Enjoy.

 

Possible extras to the base sauce

Dried chilli flakes (as desired)

1 teaspoon butter (trust me it’s delicious)

 

Other filling ideas

½ - 3/4 cup shredded chicken or other cooked meat

Grated or finely diced zucchini

Baby spinach leaves

Bean sprouts

 

Possible additions to the Best Bones broth powder base

¼ - ½ teaspoon curry powder

¼ teaspoon ground ginger
